TV Smartiflix IPTV Privacy Policy
What we collect when you use this site, why we collect it, how long we keep it and how to have it removed. Written to be read, not to be skimmed past.
1. Who we are
This policy covers smartiflixiptv4k.com, operated by Smartiflix IPTV (“we”, “us”). For any question about your data, or to make any of the requests described below, write to contact.provideriptv@gmail.com.
2. What you give us
We only ask for what an order actually needs. When you submit the subscription, free trial or contact form we receive:
- your name, email address and phone or WhatsApp number;
- the plan details you chose — length, connections, countries, application and device;
- where the application requires it, the MAC address and device key of the device the line will be activated on;
- your existing username, if you are renewing a line you already have;
- whether you want adult categories included;
- anything you type into a notes or message box.
We never ask for card numbers, bank details or passwords through this website, and no form on this site should ever request them. If a page appears to, do not fill it in — tell us instead.
3. Technical information we record with a submission
Alongside what you type, our server records a small amount of technical context with each form submission. This exists to detect abuse: duplicate and automated submissions, and the occasional competitor or spam run. The recorded fields are:
- the IP address the request came from;
- the user-agent string your browser sends, and the browser, operating system and device type we read from it;
- the time zone and interface language your browser reports;
- the page you arrived from (the HTTP referrer), where your browser supplies one;
- the date and time of the submission;
- the country our network edge resolves your IP to, where the hosting platform provides it.
From those we derive a coarse VPN or proxy indicator — a yes/no style signal, based on whether the request carried proxy-forwarding headers and whether your reported time zone is consistent with the country your IP resolves to. If a third-party IP reputation service is enabled, we send it only the IP address — never your name, email, message or any other field — and store only the yes/no results it returns and the name of the network operator.
What we deliberately do not do: we do not use browser fingerprinting of any kind — no canvas, font, audio or WebGL probing, no device-graph identifier. We do not track you across other websites, we set no advertising cookies, and we do not collect anything beyond what is listed above.
4. Why we are allowed to hold it
- To perform a contract, or take steps before one. Your name, contact details and plan choices are what we need to build and deliver your line.
- Legitimate interests. The technical fields in section 3 are kept to protect the service from abuse, fraud and automated submissions. We have weighed this against your interests and limited the collection to the minimum that achieves it.
- Consent. Where you start a live chat, you choose to send us that conversation.
5. How long we keep it
- Order and trial records: for as long as you are a customer, and up to 24 months afterwards so that a renewal can be matched to your previous line.
- Contact messages: up to 12 months after the conversation ends.
- Technical and anti-abuse data: up to 12 months, after which it is deleted along with the submission it belongs to.
- Rate-limiting counters: held in server memory only, for minutes, and lost whenever the server restarts.
6. Who else sees it
We do not sell your data and we do not share it for advertising. It reaches:
- Our email provider. Form submissions are delivered as email through Google’s SMTP servers, so the contents of the message pass through Google’s infrastructure.
- Tawk.to, if you open the live chat. That conversation and the basic connection details it collects are processed by Tawk.to under their own privacy policy.
- WhatsApp, if you choose to message us there. That conversation is governed by WhatsApp’s own terms.
- Our hosting provider, which processes requests to serve the site.
- An IP reputation service, only when one is enabled, and receiving only the IP address.
- A competent authority, where we are legally obliged to disclose something.
7. Cookies and storage
This site sets no advertising or analytics cookies. We store one item in your browser’s local storage — your light or dark theme choice — which never leaves your device and can be cleared with your browsing data at any time. The live chat widget sets its own storage so a conversation survives a page change; declining to open the chat means it stores nothing about you.
Fonts are served from this site, not from a third-party font network, so loading a page does not disclose your visit to anyone else.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask us to give you a copy of what we hold, correct it, delete it, restrict how we use it, or object to our legitimate-interests processing. You may also ask for your data in a portable form. Write to contact.provideriptv@gmail.com and we will answer within 30 days. If you are in the UK or EU and are unhappy with our answer, you can complain to your national data protection authority.
9. Security
The site is served over HTTPS. Credentials for our email account live only in server environment variables and never reach the browser. Form submissions are validated on the server before anything is done with them, and rate-limited by IP address. No system is perfect, and we will tell affected people promptly if a breach ever puts their data at risk.
10. Children
This service is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Changes
If this policy changes materially we will update the date at the top of the page. The current version always governs.
